South County Strings Program

Youth Music Monterey County's South County Strings program involves formal partnerships between YMM and South County school districts, including San Lucas Union School, San Antonio Union School, San Ardo Union School, and Bradley Union School. A team of music instructors provide violin, viola, and cello instruction in group lessons during the school day. Students are not charged for the lessons and YMM provides students with instruments for a modest monthly rental cost. Music classes begin in September, 2011 and run throughout the school year through June, 2012.

Opening for new site location in South Monterey County

We are looking for a school, school district, and community in south Monterey County to participate in our strings program.
