Youth Music Monterey provides two youth orchestras and school string instrument classes for students in Monterey County.

The Junior Youth and Honors Orchestras are led by professional conductor John Larry Granger and feature approximately 100 student musicians.

The South County Strings Program provides free string instruments to students in grades 3-12.
