Peter Scaturro: Video Game Music

Peter Scaturro, Sr Music Producer at Sony Interactive Entertainment, has produced scores for many PS4 and PS3 video game titles over the past decade, including the highly praised God of War by developer Santa Monica Studio for which he received a 2019 Original Music BAFTA win. He'll be introduced at our event by Daniel Gavrin, a YMM alum and Senior Mission Designer at Sucker Punch Productions (Ghost of Tsushima).

Peter Scatturo has produced scores for other leading developers and publishers including Ghost of Tsushima by Sucker Punch Productions, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare by Infinity Ward/Activision, Anthem by BioWare/Electronic Arts, and the award winning eclectic title What Remains of Edith Finch by Giant Sparrow/Annapurna Interactive. He has produced the score for the acclaimed title Bloodborne in collaboration with Sony’s Japan Studio, and Death Stranding by Kojima Productions. In 2016, his work on the score for Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture received a BAFTA Original Music award and four Game Audio Network Guild awards.  He also received a 2013 BAFTA Original Music nomination for producing the score to The Unfinished Swan. Prior to his work at Sony, Peter composed music for many hit television shows including the theme to the ABC David E. Kelley drama, The Practice for which he received three BMI Film & Television Composer Awards. In addition to composing for visuals, Peter has worked with many talented artists including Chris Isaak, William Burroughs, Buckethead, George Clinton and P-Funk, Spearhead, and Joe Satriani.  He also contributed songs to the infamous Guns N' Roses album, Chinese Democracy.
