About the Event
The YMMC brass, strings, and woodwind chamber ensembles welcome you to their end of year free concert on Saturday, May 31st, at 3pm noon with refreshments served afterwards. This is an excellent time to support your fellow musicians and hear a variety of composers: George Philipp Telemann's Ouverture (Suite) in e minor TWV 55:e1 for two flutes, strings, and continuo. W.A. Mozart's Viennese Sonatina Allegro. Johann Sebastian Bach's Gavotte from Orchestral Suite in D arr. for violin and cello. Glière's 8 Pieces for Violin and Cello, Op. 39 Canzonetta Impromptu. Schubert's String Quartet No. 1, D. 18 Andante-Presto vivace (g minor), Menuetto (F major with Trio in C major), Andante (B flat major) and Presto (B-flat major), and other works.
