Third Virtual Concert
Time & Location
About the Event
Let’s celebrate with a live (and FREE!) screening of our last virtual concert out at Hidden Valley Music Seminars on Sunday, June 20th, at 3:00 p.m. We’ll host an audience in the theatre with capacity limits as directed by the county and we’ll also have an outdoor option.
The concert will also be available on our YouTube channel and website if you wish to watch from home. The music is fabulous, including works by two living African American composers, Nkeiru Okoye (Voices Shouting Out) and Kevin Day (Lightspeed). Delight in the Overture to the Magic Flute by Mozart, The Prince of Denmark March by Clarke, and two short slices of opera -- the Intermezzo from Carmen and Overture to Die Fledermaus.
Can we entice you with a fantastic reception afterwards? See old friends, meet new ones you only saw in a Zoom room, and enjoy light bites, cookies, under-21 drinks, over-21 drinks (wine and beer), and rumor has it that frozen ice cream treats will also make an appearance.
New to the orchestra this year? Meet the staff who’ve been coaching and directing you, including our conductor, Danko Druško.
You’ll need to RSVP to attend the Hidden Valley event with the number of people in your party. State your preference for inside or outside. We can’t wait to see you and thank you for everything you have done to support our youth orchestras, whether it’s performing, teaching, or supporting us through the Angel Network.
